Give to the Ted Beedy Memorial Fund

Ted Beedy was an ornithologist, researcher, environmental assessor, author, and birder who served on the Board of Sierra Foothills Audubon Society. Some of his many accomplishments grew out of his love for and research on the rapidly decreasing Tricolored Blackbird populations of California. He wrote the North American Birds account and subsequent update for the species and was instrumental in starting the current triennial statewide population monitoring program. In his honor, we invite you to contribute to this memorial fund, which will be used to support ongoing research and conservation efforts for this unique species.
