Great Backyard Bird Count Special Field Trip
Leader: Rudy Darling 530-388-6335 (mobile) rdarling@sbbmail.com
The trip will be limited to 12 participants. Contact Rudy to reserve a spot and to find out where to meet. Perimeter Road is an excellent area to find Western Screech-Owls and Great Horned Owls. Barn Owl and N. Saw-whet Owl (winter only) are also possible. We will also visit the site of the first Long-eared Owl record in Nevada County and hope for a hoot. Contact Rudy if weather is doubtful.
Trip begins at 5 pm and lasts until we’re done.
