Birding on Placer Land Trust’s Harvego – Bear River Preserve, near the Bear River

This ~1700-acre property includes blue oak–grassland, black oak–pine woodland, and several ponds. Approximately 2.5 miles of walking on farm roads, moderate uphill sections, and up to 250 ft elevation gain. There are no facilities on the property. Enrollment limited to 12 people. Heavy rain will cancel event.
