This is a co-Placer Land Trust – Sierra Foothills Audubon Society event. The Placer Land Trust “Events” website will advertise it about three to four weeks before the event. https://placerlandtrust.org/calendar/ . Please sign up through the Land Trust to attend; they will provide information on where to meet. Clover Valley is one of the last remaining intact sections of oak woodlands in western Placer County. The valley includes a rich wildlife corridor along a small year-round creek, with wetlands, beaver-dammed ponds, and open meadows. We will stroll along farm roads but will also be on rough paths through tall grasses; please wear sturdy shoes and long pants. Enrollment limited to 12 people. Heavy rain will cancel event.
