Bird stroll near Cool, Auburn State Recreation Area (ASRA)

All are welcome! Please bring binoculars and wear boots/shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy. Meet at the Cave Valley Road entrance to ASRA. The road is one mile south of the intersection of highways 193 and 49 (‘downtown’ Cool), on the west side of Hwy 49. Park in the Northside Elementary school parking lot or along the road next to the school. This 2-mile loop tour will mosey by two large ponds, open fields with bramble patches and scrub pine–oak woodlands. Bring a snack and water. Con-tact the leader if weather is questionable. Comment
