A Saunter for Bird Lovers Magnolia Ranch, El Dorado County

This walk is intended for anyone who loves birds. This trail is on BLM land, located approx. 5 miles north of Coloma and 14 miles south of Auburn on Hwy 49. This is a fairly flat trail through beautiful oak woodlands with views of the American River. We will be stopping along the walk to identify and observe the behavior of the birds we see. All levels of bird lovers are welcome, but especially those new to this pastime. We hope to see 20 or more bird species along the way. Binoculars are encouraged – they will enhance your viewing greatly. Contact Kate if weather is questionable. Meet at the Magnolia Ranch Trailhead on Hwy 49.
